If this is a historic home - it looks like it might have been but now has new windows . . and there have been no issues, why are you adding gutters? The house appears to be high off the land, the typical reason for gutters is so that water will be directed away from the foundation but that cannot be your reason.

So - first thing, why the need for the expense? Second, The placement at the base of your mansard is going to be very prominent - you might do copper just for the run across the façade here and use a copper toned aluminum everywhere else. They will patina over time .. bronze aluminum would probably be my choice to hide them in the shingle tone as best as possible ..

thank you! Its not an historic home but happy you thought so. We are living in coastal GA on the marsh and we need to drain the rain off the patio. When it rains the water rushes down the corners of the roof onto the patio and splash the french doors

. we replaced the floors and all the sub floor was rotted by each door. Its a bit hard to see the full roof in the photo perhaps these pictures will give you a better idea. Think we are going to do regular aluminum as it makes more sense economically. I appreciate your opinion!

you can get an aluminum that looks like copper. That's what we did.
