I am remodeling the kitchen and installing under cabinet lights. I talked to an electrician who talked me out of puck lights (too many wires) and prefers strip lighting (he specifically likes Juno pro series LED). He also recommended a local lighting store where I went and their best seller is ribbon lighting, which is much more cost effective than the strip lights. My electrician thinks the ribbon lights would be too flimsy and not hold up as well. I definitely want to keep the cost down and the ribbon lighting is about 1/6th of the cost of the strip lights. Both lights look similar when under the cabinets. Does anyone have suggestions or could share their experience with ribbon lighting? Thanks for everyone's help!
