Attached is the 2017 retreat for October 11-15. I based on 10 people (5 rooms) and no meals. This can all be changed closer to the retreat date.

I do need to make you aware that we have had a rate increase for our meals:

Breakfast $8.00

Lunch $9.00

Dinner $12.00

These increases actually went into effect this year, however your group had already been issued a reservation for October of this year with the old rates."

She also asked if we might be interested in changing to a Mon-Fri instead of Wed-Sat. I for one would not, but thought I would throw it out to see if there is any interest. I like having the first part of the week to ride the trails in VA.

As of now we can check in Wed after 4 and will have to be out by 10 again on Sunday, but I'll work on that.

All looks good to me. I think current days work well in my case, too. But I'll arrange to make either you decide to do.

I've got plenty of vacation days, so either schedule will probably work for me. And depending on how many we have going next year, taking care of our meals for our group is not as difficult as it might sound.

I'll cook a meal next year. I liked being able to pick our own meal time rather than dropping everything because a bell rang for meals.

I am fine for whichever days are best for the group. Maybe we can agree to be out of the bedrooms by 10 but the retreat area by 12? Maybe that would work for the cleanup lady.

I'll check on that. It may depend on how many we have and how much they need to get set up for the next group.

I liked our days, but will go with whatever. I didn't mind the cooking. I agree with Linda that it was nice to set our own meal times - especially breakfast!

Since I got flack from DH for leaving on Wednesday, I can safely say that a Mon-Friday event will absolutely not happen for me. He can't take a full week off from work to support my hobby.

Hope he is really nice to you now, Jen. I like having the first of the week to ride, so think we will leave it like it is.

When you say you like the first part of the week for the trails, do you get there early and stay in a room or have an RV?

This year we got a room in Pulaski, VA. Next year we think we will stay in Galax VA and ride the other end of the New River trail again. Then Wed morning we will drive to Abingdon and ride part of the Creeper, then head to the retreat. This was the first year we started the retreat on Wed so it cut our rides a bit short, but we still got them in. Love those 2 trails.
