Painting tile roof??

My house has spanish style tile roof and the rest of the house is painted an orangey sand color. Overall it gives the house a spanish-ish look and I'm interested in modernizing the look a bit by painting the house white instead and thinking a grey roof. Is it possible to paint the tiles or is this just a silly idea and the paint would just fade in a year?

If mineral paint bonds to this type of clay tile, it would probably be better than actual acrylic paint in terms of not fading or mildewing.

Advantage 25 is a good option. It also has an added benefit as a reflective exterior coat.
