Seems like you will now have to find even more space as winter living quarters then Rick! You can't possibly throw 'the resilient guys' out....you wouldn't....would you?

I do not really want to, but I have already dumped a bunch into the garbage. This is the tuff part for myself, whine..... I love starting them and I do mind keeping them, there just is not enough wanting them and I want to get to a happy medium.

So true in what you say Rick.

Believe it or not, with my very small collection in comparison to lots of ppl here, consisting of merely 5 average sized mature plants, 3 intermediates and 9 seedlings, I find myself asking do I really need all of them? So far, the reply I hear is yes, you enjoy growing them and the contact with others it brings, so till then.........

I also grow Crassulas/jades and have several varieties. Just had a sort out and limited myself to keeping two of each type where possible, so that means 21 plants. The spares sit at the end of the shelf, but I can't for the life of me bring myself to compost them. Gave my unsuspecting sister 2 this week, he-he!

Edited to add.....after a day in the garden and g/h I realised there's another two to include in the Crassula roll call, making 23! I forgot I'd taken a branch off one only the other day that was a 'reversion' which was showing some different colours, so I now have 2 of another kind to pamper :-/

It is tuff to throw them out. I ended up giving a bunch away just for the postage to the individuals. This I do not mind doing, at least they are going to people that know what they are. I gave one of my 3yr. old plants w it's first blooms to friends and they took it, never asked exactly what it was, have never heard from them on care and who knows it it still survives. I think they thought of it as a disposable bouquet of flowers. Oh, well. You cannot give something away and complain later. So I am not.

I to really like having a mix of plants. Kind of an eclectic offering of them.

Tyler, yes, they kind of creep up on you and before you know where you are, bang, you're well and truly addicted! We could do with an Adenium Addicts (AA) therapy group couldn't we?

I agree. Wouldn't that be something to be talking to someone and speaking of going to an AA meeting. Then having this person over hearing you say, "Oh we are sorry to hear you are having troubles w drinking", You say, "Oh not Alcohol, it's Adenium's that are my problem". Will have to give it a try at my next meeting. See how it goes over. Maybe not, they may not ask, then where would I be.

It is a shame and I have always wished that I could just share w people here, but it is not possible. I started a Page on FB years ago called Adeniums Canada, but have not heard from anyone within my country.

You have such nice plants. It will take me a long time to aquire the bloom variety you have. I just love the flowers. I hope you can find them great homes.

Good idea Rick, will try that, should be a hoot as I don't even drink! Feel like doing some times though!
