Neem oil works just fine.

I suggest making this spray with a few ingredients. Spray it in your tree and it will kill them. It kills a lot of diffeirent bugs.

boil 2-1/2 cups of water. While its boiling, in a measuring cup of bowl big enough to hold all the water but not too big that the water is shallow, place a cinnamon stick, lemon wedge, sprig of rosemary, three dried cloves, and 1/8 teaspoon dried nutmeg. Add a teaspoon of rubbing alcohol if you don't use it within two days (it will probably treat 10-12 medium sized trees). Pour water over it and steep on the counter for at least 3 hours. I do it for 8. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Thank you guys for your suggestions. I just sprayed my plants thoroughly with a very diluted combination of Dr. Bronner's Pure Castile soap, rosemary oil extract, and peppermint oil extract. While i'm confident that this combination will be effective, i'm worried that this mixture will harm the plant. As I was spraying, a considerable amount of the solution was absorbed into the soil. Should I be concerned? What if I harmed the roots??

Those all work. I like to mix horticultural oil with neem because I find it dilutes better that way. Spray all over, even under the leaves.

Neem is good too. It can combat many bugs such as aphids and mites, and keep your tree from getting diseases. Let me know what you use and if it works!

They key if to kill the adults and the ones that have yet to hatch..The means more than one treatment in a three week period of they will be back..Also, if you can, wipe of any surrounding area including mop the floor and and spray your pots too...Clean the saucers your plants sit in if so..Be very clean about the area and pick up any debris that fall to the ground or the top of the soil in your pots..

all the things that u put shouldn't be harmful in proper ratio . Castile soap is pure soap without additives so that's good. I use a combo of neem n rosemary with castile soap.
