My first flower is about 4.5" to 5" depending on how you measure the curls. Good sized flower but I don't detect any fragrance. The scape is 12" and the leaves are very narrow. I think as more flowers open it will be very pretty. This flower is definitely prettier in very low light, the green throat shows up best and the overall color of the flower deepens. I may possibly have a second one; the twin in shape to this one has just started sending up a scape and so far it appears long and narrow as this one was.

All 3 Magical Touch bulbs have buds just peeking out...☺☺

Josh, From the Thai Thai group I just initially ordered 2 bulbs and they sent me 4. The other two are both different, one should be open in a few days.

I cut half of it at the base and loosen it up because it's so tight. Didn't want to risk losing the blooms. Now that I have some true bulbs, I won't need to be so worried about the next one.

It was an elongated bulb and there was a second seemingly identically shaped bulb but, as that bud emerges it doesn't seem to have the same flat neck that turns into the bud with no indentation to speak of. The bud on this second bulb seems to have an indentation at the stem neck..still a little early to tell though.

Here is the second flower just fully open this morning; this one more curvy from the get go and I assume it will get better in a day or two.

Just measured what is open and mine are about 4", but hard to measure due to curls.

I just got a pm from someone who (I hope) will be posting their bloom w/ characteristic balloon. Yay... H. Thai Thais from "the mix" are blooming around the country!

My second bulb from the mix I'm fairly sure is going to bloom like yours Josh and Kristi's a few posts back, as Belladonna. One of the prettier of the mix, should be out in a few days.

Hooray!!!

4 of my 6 are going to be pinks. Other 2 will probably be none Thai thai also. So I will not see Thai thai this year and will have something to look forward next year. On the other hand, my Orange Varie from Komoriya is about to open it's flowers so excitement shifts to this bulb. It's buds are almost the same color as the pink none Thai thais.

I agree that it's Belladonna, which is what I think the majority of my bulbs are. Yep Kristi, they're short and round :) The one I suspect as Thai Thai will be opening soon!

Donna, your blooms are much prettier than I originally though. I love the green throat in that last one.

Oh I can't wait to see your Orange Varie!! Mine put out two gorgeous leaves but they grew up under the lights and got burned!! The top half of both leaves look terrible but the bottom halves look great. No bud for me yet though...

Three flowers out and one ballooning, 2 smaller ones yet to come but I doubt that they will come out in time to bloom with the other 4 but isn't this just gorgeous!!!??? Second bud on the way and lovely narrow leaves!! All this packed in one small bulb!!!

Here is the second one from the Thai Thai batch to bloom; Belladonna I guess. Believe it or not, this scape has 8 flowers!!! A second scape isn't far behind, I can't believe the energy packed into these small bulbs!!

The flash really does enhance the coloration of these flowers, they are much paler in the daylight and I would consider this an evening flower for most enjoyment. The green throat shows up best in low light for some reason.

Yes, I would say my flower is quite an orangey coral color. Is it Belladonna?

This is what I think is my Thai Thai, it has very narrow foliage and a longer than normal "bud". I tried planting them in groupings of bulbs that are similar, but obviously the bulb on the left is something different, much fatter bud. The one on the right is quite narrow

Remember the time 2" bloom... Well, here's the 2nd scape's bloom; it's nearly 4".

My first non Thai Thai is a Ballerina. It is quite pretty with 5 inch flower and 6 buds/scape. I have 3 more of these that will be blooming. Not bad for a mislabel but would have been happier had I gotten at least 1 Thai Thai. Haha!

This is the second scape this morning on my one and only bulb. Four flowers this time and the plant toppled over once again but nothing was broken!! The flowers aren't quite as beautifully shaped as the first scape but lovely none the less. I can't quite believe how few of us actually ended up with one of these gems!! Hopefully next year they will flood the market and all that want them will have them!!!

My fifth bulb of none Thai Thai has opened it's flowers and it's a Trentino. So far only Donna has a Thai Thai in this batch of bulbs from Living Gardens. I hope they're happy with all that sales they got with these supposed to be "Thai Thai Mix". What a rip off!!!

I was recently in contact with Living Gardens. I'm sorry to report the news contained in these excerpts included in messages received from their representatives.

'LivingGardens.com has currently shut down operations while we undergo some organizational changes, and we will not be offering any bulb products for sale this season."

"We will notify you if and when Living Gardens comes back. It will definitely not be for this season, but perhaps next.

So, there won't be any 'Thai Thai' bulbs from this source. I'm happy that I received 'Thai Thai' among the "Mystery Mixed-Up" bulbs from Living Gardens last season. Hopefully there will be another supplier this season.

I am sorry to hear that Living Gardens is having difficulty. Being in business is not always easy and they had their share of vendor issues yet they always tried to make things right for their customers I hope they come back strong.

It's too bad that Living Gardens is shut down. I know that I got a lot of bulbs with mites and mealy bugs from them this past winter. Obviously a vendor issue. Thankfully, most of the bulbs have responded to treatment and are doing pretty well. A couple bulbs ended up with weird rot issues that I haven't seen before.
