We are buying a house built in the 1970's which has a fun knotty pine paneled vaulted ceiling in the living room. We are opening it up to the kitchen and need to decide on a tone for the wood floors we plan to install throughout. I'm thinking mid tone but I don't want it to be too dark in the room.
