I just needed to vent (very upset)

OK,so a while back I had spoken with a few of you guys and sent photos of the rotting "Lisa" that my mom purchased from Poland.... I was upset but I got over it. It happens! I didn't give the lady a negative review or anything... Fast forward. Between the tornados that came My way and my illnesses, I pretty much lost most of my little cutting collection that you all helped me to start. Now I'm starting over so I ask around to see who sells cuttings because I have nothing to trade at this point. NOW my birthday comes and my mom wants to buy me a gift and of course I want a "Lisa" so I figured I would give "Poland" another try.. I contact her and ask if she sells cuttings also because I lost mine in the storm and being ill. She started screaming at me thinking I lied about the 1st "Lisa"being rotted!! BUT I SENT PHOTOS OF THE ROTTING Lisa!!! I tried to explain to her that what I lost in the storm was my cuttings NOT her "Lisa"!!! But she continued to scream and say "never talk to me again, I'm blocking you!!!) Normally I don't care what people think of me but I hate for my integrity to be questioned! I don't "Deal" dishonestly. The Lisa was rotted and I had photos. She misunderstood and then would not hear my side!!! That aggravates me to no end!!!!

I'm sorry this was so long you guys. I'm so upset!

She didn't offer to send another one?

That situation had been taken care of long ago. She refunded my mom.it was over. When I tried to place another order, I ask if I could also buy cuttings because I lost mine in storm... SHE thought that I was saying that I lost the LISA in the storm. So she said I lied and told her the Lisa rotted... It did rot! I sent photos. She misunderstood.... I lost my cuttings in the storm and when I was sick.... That Lisa was completely dead in less than a week...

This is momma plant AFTER her "haircut":

Most of the 9 cuttings I took are 5-8 nodes. She was getting a bit big...

Has it flowered for you yet rachel?

aurorawa, what kind of elliptica is that in your pic? some i've seen are not very green and or don't have really prominent veining.

That's very nice of you aurorawa!

'Lisa' is one that takes a long time to bloom, that is why you find so many large ones that are all leaves. I grow mine for the leaves, anyway.

I grow many ellipticas. That one happens to be EPC 639. It, and EPC 311 happen to be my favorites.

Whats the plant on the left side of "lisa" with the dark green folded leaves?

Ok Bridgett, spamming your cuttings on here instead of hotmail (easier to upload here on mobile):

The larger cutting has not rooted yet-

The smaller cutting has some root nubs (look to the bottom left; apologies for out of focus)-

Both together, wrapped and ready to be secured in box-

Also found a pottsii that was growing out of hand, so I trimmed it up, making a few cuttings. Sending one your way, as I know you wanted one:

Hoya pottsii 'Cooper's Creek' IML 0353-

Aurora, I love your tags! I got some metal ones and well...they are too thin and don't hold up well. Yours are exactly what I m looking for! Where did you find them please?

I buy them directly from amekron.com.

Cheaper than ebay/amazon ($90 for 1000 tags at amekron vs. $30-50 for 100 tags through other websites).

Thank you so much! By next spring I may feel like I'm actually relevant on the forum and not just the newbie lol. You guys are gr8!
