Picture? My guess is to crowd it out. Then it has to grow up.

I have downloaded a picture of this Sans. You will see that the leaves or oriented in different directions and they also look different.

Mine also seem to go off different directions. A nice large clump however does seem to stay upright.

Direct sun damage on the leaves. Turned them more yellow? Leaving the dead spots alone. Doesn't seem to bother the plant or me.

This one for some reason is growing straight up but not others I own.

I'm in zone 6 also so now my sans in down the basement under lights. Last winter the long skinny leaf started to grow under lights in the basement and it grew long and not mottled. Well I'll just have to wait until next years to see what surprise it will bring me. Is it a fact that each new leaf is larger and wider?

Sorry Betty but no. It all has to do with growing conditions. But mostly it is true to some extent. Most of my collection is now in my basement under lights. This is their hardest times for me.
