Help with choosing a coffee table

I am trying to choose a coffee table for this room to replace the one in the picture.

We're mixing side tables as you can see, there are 2 tables with chrome base and round MDF black top in the corners, and one white MDF base with square glass top.

I am having difficulty choosing a coffee table here. Your help is really appreciated.

It seems an awful lot of furniture in this space - I would go with an all-glass or acrylic coffee table to lighten it all up but really, I would edit some of the seating. What is happening on the other side of the room? Another seating area?

I think the tables in the corners are the wrong height - they align with the backs of the sofas.

Also, I would recommend a larger rug - one that would reach under the front legs of the sofas at least.

I agree...much too much furniture in the room. Arms of sofas should not overlap each other. Perhaps eliminate furniture along one of the long walls and angle a chair on the diagonal so everything is not just lined up along the walls. Think I would replace tables with wood to warm things up a bit.

I agree with Anna. The furniture is lovely but it looks to crowded. Can you post a pic of the other side of the room? Here is a coffee table that should work well. https://www.houzz.com/products/lauster-coffee-table-prvw-vr~41743343

gosh sarah, nearly overwhelmed me with all those pics in your ideabook.

you are just waiting to get the art work that you need to make all this dullness make sense right? if you need guidance. there are many inexpensive originals, look local, or online at etsy or saatchiart. don't get things that say glicee or canvas art. make sure it says original. ie:

some etsy examples, saatchiart does not stay long enough. last ditch, get these for $1, not original but at least you are more unique, take the down load, print the way and size you like. i think the on glass is cool.

With all those severe angles, I'd go with a round cocktail table or two. You do have a lot of seating, but if it's needed....so be it.

The room needs flexible, moveable tables.
