Regarding Alsobias.

Probably the best collection of Alsobias is at the Violet Barn https://www.violetbarn.com/cart/alsobia.html 

I do not think that they are widely grown and super popular. You need to have space for them, preferably hanging basket on the bright enough window. On the light shelves - the try to take over and get into everything, The one you grow - Alsobia dianthiflora is relatively well behaved. You get something like A.punctata - and it will choke everything like a bindweed.

While I undersand that you hope to get Alsobia sp. 'San Miguel' shared with you for the price of shipping... you are probably better to bite the bullet and get it from VB. And you do not need all of them. They are NOT that different. The one RM2010-! is different and it is not invasive. Blooms on Alsobias are seasonal and very short lived. Most of the year it is a just green plant. Tropical ground cover.

Alsobia bloom is, as Irina said, seasonal. The problem though is its mindless happiness. While I've been standing over 30 AV leaves looking for signs of new life for 2 months, the mother Alsobia continues expanding, 100% of her cuttings are thriving in their own pots and occupying half a flat...

Thin the leaves and trim back stolons to increases the seasonal bloom.

So mine just bloomed last month, does seasonal in this case mean it will bloom every fall? It has bloomed before but I don't remember exactly when.

They can have a bloom period stretched, and they form the buds ahead of time. May be yours still has some. What I see - that the plants blooming in spring often shift to fall in culture. And if you use the technique Jules suggested - pinching the stoons and keeping the plant from getting too dense you probably get more in quantity and length of the blooming period.
