Hi, looks like a great layout to me. I would also add in built in storage along the wall that runs to the left as you enter the room, the wall that has the 3' dimension on your plans. This would be great for media storage and snacks and drinks.

Overall, I'd agree - it's a good looking space that provides some flexibility.

As far as the home theater goes, if you're talking about a 133" diagonal screen, that's really big for your seating distance. SMTPE specs recommends the seating distance to be 2-4 times the screen height. At 11' back from a 5' 5"-tall screen, you're at the max recommended size.

Are the front speakers going behind the screen, above, or below it?

Was it wired for Dolby ATMOS? If not, you may want to consider at least running wires for in-ceiling height channels.

Do you have the equipment already picked out? Are you already consulting with a home theater design/sales firm?

The screen is the wide format 2.5:1.

I backed up couple of feet first row is at 13 feet, head measured.

Speakers are behind the screen, the screen is acoustically transparent, the speakers are being it at around 45inches above the head.

It's wired for 7.2 12ga wire. All speakers Polk. The front two 265 and one 255 LS line. The ceiling ones 8" the MC80(? Don't recall exactly). Subs are unknown but in wall. Planning one in front 6-7 feet, the other 6-7 behind the listening area.

I didn't yet bought the speakers but I used roughs in made by polk for the above speakers.

Any additional information please let me know. I'd be happy to run it but someone with experience.

By chance is your screen 2.35:1? 2.5:1 is a non-standard aspect ratio. Most movies today are shot in 2.40:1, but people still refer to 2.35:1.

What kind of screen do you have?

Did I understand that the speakers are 45" above the seated head position, or are they 45" from the floor? If the latter, that should work fine. In general you want the tweeters in the speakers to be somewhere between the vertical mid-point in the screen and the listener's ear height when seated (usually 36").
