I LOVE color. My house if full of bold colors - a plum living room, a navy dining room, and a kiwi green sitting room. They are all "jewel" colors and flow seamlessly together as I pick up colors from rooms to the next. I am renovating my kitchen with white cabinets as this is the safe and universally appealing look...and we don't want to go extreme with things that can't be changed easily like paint. However, I absolutely need to inject my personality into this kitchen. I am working with the Amish on cabinets and they are doing a few glass ones for me to open up the space. I will be doing a cobalt blue backsplash.

Would it be too much to have the inside of the glass painted blue? There are only 2 cabinets next to the range and it just gives me that extra color "as if" I could do cabinets in blue.
