Need help with my shelving . What should I put on top to look functionality and useable please help. Finally I waiting for year

bowls and dishes you commonly use. all is one color for a classic look. many different colors for something more fun.

Beautiful kitchen. You have lived in this kitchen like this for a year already? Wow, it looks unused.

Kitchen related items would be ideal. Even food or alcohol art work, tilted on the shelf would be great.

Don't evenly space it out, clusters in odd numbers will be better.

I would just remove the valances. I bet it will look great.

I would add another row of shelves on each side, then do as previously posted pictures suggest- these shelves are meant to be utilitarian in a kitchen, as in "wow, my stuff's so nice I don't need cabinets."

Maybe adding additional layer of shelving on top will help? Then add dishes? One of our renovations is included below to help.
