Have you pulled the spec online that shows the back of the stove? There is probably an indentation space on it for the cord so stove will be flush against wall. Specs will also show product and cabinet cut out dimensions so you can tell if you need a counter filler in the back. My guess is that it is a full depth slide in. I just had my Bosch installed and it fit like a glove thanks to looking at the specs beforehand. Good luck!

I have to replace my current slide in range. I am looking at the Kitchenaid slide in induction. I already have the strip behind the range. Can it be installed with that strip or does it need to be removed? I did look at the installation instructions, and for the slide in it shows the strip, but the pictures I've looked at make it look like it sits back against the wall. Can anyone provide more information?

Gldcc happy with your choice?

I am very pleased with my choice The oven is a delight and I am adjusting to the induction cooktop after only having had gas. The cooktop works very well. I haven't had any complaints. Clean up has been easy too. PS I finally got the promotional pots and pan. Took a number of phone calls and almost 3 months. Very glad I did, as they are very nice pans, quite heavy, and with glass lids.
