There were many factors that affected the placement of these pendants, especially the troffer ceiling. The middle pendant was centered to the island, and then the other two pendants were hung 24" from the center pendant on each side. It is difficult to give a general rule of thumb for hanging pendants because there are several factors that should be considered, including the length of the island, the width of the pendants, and ceiling features.
