I have a great love for the mauves and purples, but don't have any of yours. My favorite of yours is Rhapsody in Blue, but what a shame that it doesn't like the heat. If it did it would be in my garden. I recently put in Plum Perfect, which is supposedly very good in the heat. By next summer I'll know. The Sweet Peas are so lovely in their color variations.

Rhapsody in Blue tends to shrink its blooms in the heat a lot..although it wasn't too bad last year after it spent about 6 weeks under the carport, with no direct sun at all ( it even produced a mini flush) so praps its just too much sun?. I've heard good things about Blue for You, so been seriously contemplating that one too.

I love my sweetpeas :) Not as tasty as tomatoes - something, probably possums, was eating them green off the vines, so after two years of getting barely any for myself, I decided to grow something non edible in their place. I currently have 4 vases worth in the lounge, an arrangement in the kitchen, and posies in two bedrooms, hehe. They smell gorgeous! My Navy and High Scent are my favorites- they're by a NZ breeder called Dr Keith Hammet ( he also does dahlias too). Next year I'm going to try tracking down some of his other varieties.
