Just some quick pics from this morning...

The rain finally has let up for a bit. I think it's supposed to be dry for about 5 days now maybe. Hopefully I can get out and finish up some deadheading and cleaning up. Not a lot blooming, needless to say... and they're pretty thrashed...

ABRACADABRA... the J&P one... had to post this one even tho it doesn't look so good. I almost lost this plant to the heat and the damn moles digging up my upper bed. The whold plant one day just turned brown! I was sick. Can't replace this one! So, I decided to dig it out and pot it up and see what happens. Thankfully, it shot up a couple of small new canes. Not planting it back there that's for sure! A couple roses away from it, my HIROSHIMA'S CHILDREN totally died back as well. I left it there in hopes it would come back, as it is an own root plant, where ABRACADABRA is grafted. Luckily HC has also begun to come back!

Love Perfume Tiger and wish I could get Summer Song! It's really nice to have a respite from rain with few sunny days ahead.

I'm so glad 'Summer Song' is doing well for you. It certainly had a lot of detractors. Nice color. Swoon, there's 'Bill Warriner' again. Something about the creaminess of that shade of pink? Love it. And I love that raspberry pink (?) of 'Perfume Tiger'.

Thanks guys! Maybe I'll have to try rooting some cuttings of SUMMER SONG when I get around to deadheading it.

Ingrida, I'll try to get some new pics of the girls. It rained most of last week so I didn't spend much time out there. Plus I had jury duty this week. Only had time to go out to take goodies to them, pick up poop and collect eggs! I'm averaging 7 per day!! It's sunny for awhile now, and I'm off tomorrow, so I'll get to spend some time with them. I just love those little ladies...
