this was not registered and I pulled the description from a Polish website.

Senk's Alchemy Morning Star #9842 Semiminiature trailer. Single yellow six petal bell. Medium green, heart shaped, quilted , serrated.

You need to be absolutely precise with names. David Senk's hybrids has confusing names. More than one Star and more then one Bells.

The color gets more intense when the weather cools down. (Photoshop helps too ;-))).

Lol, and I use that P*shop because cameras don't take true colors that the eye sees. Sometimes it's very twiddly to get a true color (esp blues and purples)

Close to impossible. I try to do it with a grey card - and it is still close but no cigar.

2. Both flowers are identical....why ?

2. they are probably closely related. Though one is registered as a miniature, second as a s/m trailer - so the growing habit will be different. Probably hybridizer wanted to have both type of AVs with yellow bells.

I think when both plants mature - they will look more different - because not only the blossom makes the plant.

rosie: grey card / white balance are tricks photogs use (grey for photoshop) when taking/processing pictures … especially publication. Ever go to an event and see the camera folks holding up a white sheet of paper in front of the camera… they are establishing a baseline for lighting …

It helps. Especially if you use whatever ambient light you have at that time. There is an option in cameras - custom white balance. You make a pic of a grey card - and use it as your preset in a custom balance. As a result -the colors of the photos come much closer to the real ones. Otherwise - afternoon light makes everything yellow, green turns to olive and so on.
