Consider moving the closet door so it opens to the bedroom and utilize the 'hallway' making it as part of the ensuite.

Do what Dytecture said for the closet. Then you have a couple of different options depending on what your priorities are: Along the left side 8' bathroom wall--You can make a 3'x5' water closet in the top left corner. Make a large 5'x5' shower below the w.c. above the closet. The w.c. and shower will both extend 5' from the right wall. Run a 5' vanity between the wall on the right side of the bathroom (where there is just an opening now) up to the shower. BC counters are only approx. 2' wide you still have plenty (3') of room for the opening to your shower. Then put in a pocket door (at least 24") on the right wall at one foot above where width of counter ends. Then run a second vanity (3') at top of bathroom between wall on right side and w.c. leaving 2' of space so w.c. door has room to open. I hope this makes sense, sorry I can't provide a visual. Alternatively you could make 5' a double vanity and use 3' space for open storage/storage tower/makeup area. If a w.c. is not important to you then you have more options. I personally prefer that the rest of the bathroom be available even when the toilet is in use.
