Besides citrus I am growing mangos (just planted) passionfruit, rosemary, mint and lots of different succulents. I am looking forward to spring when I can start planting in the garden. It's going to be a good first year in this house! :)

I grow a few kinds of berries; honeyberries, currents, gooseberries, elderberries, and thornless raspberries. I tried my hand at some columnar apples last year but they got a heavy mite infestation and are looking pretty worse for wear. I'm planning on putting in figs this year that I'm pretty excited about as well.

Outside, I grow apples, peaches, cherries, raspberries, blueberries, and raspberries. The only exotic variety I have besides citrus is a guava. Nice persimmons Bob!!

I have avocados, mangos, bananas, pomegranates, and dragon fruit. The mangos are my personal favorite, avocados second.

I've got brown turkey and green figs, two asian pears, two Fuyu and one Hachiya persimmons, one sweet cherry, Sichuan peppercorn (surprisingly related to citrus), raspberries, and blueberries. And my blueberry bushes and persimmons have been out of whack this year... flowered and fruited multiple times (there are some open flowers and a few blueberries on the bushes right now, the persimmons didn't go to fruit on the second round of flowers, but i do have fruit from the original on the trees).

I grow a little of everything. mostly edibles - fruits, berries, nuts, all kinds of vegetables, herbs, edible weeds. Our aim is that with every homemade meal there's at least one thing on the plate that we grew. For fun I like to grow unusual plants that most around here don't grow, just to see what they're like. One of my long sought after additions this year was purple tree collards. Finally found some cuttings, only one took root, but it's growing ok.

I'm also growing a beard.

Succulents, lots of herbs, beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, mostly things in the vegetable department.

Beautiful persimmons - great color. Based on the shape, it looks astringent. Are the smaller Spanish ones (I presume) similar?

I grow everything in containers: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, figs, dragonfruit, orchids, clivias, bougies, a bunch of veggies/herbs.

I just ordered a shiitake stump, so there's that.

Inside containers: avocado, pomagranate, mango, strawberry guava, peppers, eggplant.

outside ground or raised planters: apples, plums, cherries, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, kiwi, strawberry, During the season annuals: various vegetables, tomatoes, artichoke, peppers, and melons

The red ones are spanish Roya Brillanti a must have variety, i have't seen anything like it, color wise. So is Giombo, so is Sayo. If grown right Giombo and R.B. would barely fit in the palm of your hand.

We do focus on citrus here..of course...but it's nice to see what else folks are growing!

I planted a plum and peach last fall, and have a fig, a pomegranate, pecan trees (that apparently belong to exclusively the squirrels), several Japanese plums (loquats), aloe vera scattered here and there, several mints, jalapenos, habaneros, and a new plant, ginger, that I'm looking forward to enjoying fresh. The ginger grew like gangbusters this season in the shade of a tangerine and I have lots of roots to propagate new plants next spring. I think the ginger will enhance some of my citrus recipes. There is a ginger forum by the way and I have posted photos there.

Ok John, i'll move over to a different forum.I like to see a forum for subtropicals for my group of tree's. Citrus is dedicated to citrus and persimmon could be anywhere. I think it could fit under subtropical's with some of my others i am growing. There are huge interests by Zone pushers in the mid-section of the U.S.

I enjoy seeing what other citrus growers also Gro as I grow all kinds of different plants also. Most have seen my orchids but I have a pineapple, hoyas, ixora, figs, camellias, flowering annuals, perrenials, vegetables, criss gradifola, all kinds of topicals....too many to write. I'm always looking for something different to add. keep the pictures coming.

Cori Ann, I really like the Bloom-a-thons. They haven't been out for all that long. I have Bloom-a-thon Red and LOVE the color. Still getting established though.
