I do not agree IMO glass tiles are a bit of bling without going crazy and i think they are this century’s new subway tile , I never add a design behind the stove unless this is a huge Tuscan style kitchen that look is very dated I am not sure about your style but the drawings look like a nice simple kitchen style so maybe the glass tile in the second pic in a stacked pattern instead of offset. I do agree to wait until the kitchen is put together before deciding backsplash for sure . I think crackle finish will be out dated long before glass subway tile
