Its a Peperomia. Peperomia quadrangularis.

It's a beautiful plant!

tlbean, It has been ID'd as Dischidia ovata/Watermelon Dischidia. The stems on a Peperomia are much thicker compared to these, which are wiry.

All peperomia's dont have thick stems. Many of them do though.

Here is a picture of the "beetle" which you can see has thin stems.

Its really hard to tell though.....

Brad, could you please take an up close pic of the leaves and petioles? I will compare to my d. ovata and p. quadrangularis.

The leaves also look kinda flat on your plant but the ovata has fleshy thick leaves.

The mystery continues! Justin from EA said it was the Peperomia (he responded via their FB page), while other growers say it's the Dischidia. If it's the Peperomia, I may end up naming this one Beetlejuice (since it is the Beetle Peperomia).

I have seen the beetle in stores recently also and they look just like your plant.

Its a really nice plant. And not seen to often in stores. I dont even know if exotic angel grows ovata...

Oh, also on Saturday, I saw the million hearts dischidia at Lowe's! It was a nice full basket. So if you are looking for that plant, it is in stores now aswell.

It looms more like my peperomia. My dischidia ovata's older stems are green. All of my p. quadrangularis' stems are red.

EA does not sell ovata (but I wish they did). I'm still pretty happy with my purchase since the leaves are what first drew me to it :). I have seen the Million Hearts Dischidia for sale before, too. Our Wal-Mart doesn't have it right now, though.

Now, if I could find a String of Hearts, I would really be a happy camper. :D
