Too moist for too long?

I got my Australis 'Lisa' approximately the first week of October, from Poland. The soil was that heavy stuff, and it was pretty wet. I waited 5 days and then repotted it with the Gubler's fine orchid mix from Lowe's. Didn't add perlite, as it looked like it would be fast draining, and I could see perlite had already been added to the mix. But I'm wondering if it was enough, as now, about a month later, the soil is still moist. (Not wet, just moist). Shouldn't it have dried out by now? Should I repot it and add perlite? I don't want the roots to rot because it doesn't have a whole lot of them. Plant looks fine, by the way.
