Need a rug

I am looking for a rug to match my couch. My floors are medium colored wood. I don't have an accent color. Does anyone have any recommendations? Sam's has a rug that would match the pillows...but would that be too "matchy matchy'??? I like a modern farmhouse look. I'd like a rug under $500.
