Powder Room

I have painted my powder room Benjamin Moore's Hale Navy. I really would love to buy a gold mirror, but having a hard time deciding if it will look bad with the silver faucet finishes, light fixture, and toilet handle. I don't really want to replace everything now, just want to know if I can do a gold mirror and would love any suggestions/ideas on how to do this.

Sure, you can mix metals and it's interesting looking. But repeat the gold at least one or two times to look cohesive. Even it's just a trash can in gold. Maybe the mirror gold, gold cup? and trash can. Three items will look "deliberate".

Notice in this photo the designer used silver faucets (and wallpaper), but the mirror, sconces and picture frames is gold finish.

Note that the "gold" is NOT a bright, shiny gold, more of an aged gold.
