Oh wow. Yep, that's spider mite damage, webs and all. I'm curious what kind they are. We have lots of probably another kind of spider mite in my area (SW Idaho), but they rarely bother our tomatoes noticeably (usually it's watermelons and first-year ground cherries—as well as apples, indoor peppers, etc.), unless they're planted next to infected ground cherries. Are they infecting other plants besides tomatoes?

I usually just spray the plants with water with a shower nozzle with my hose every two or three days, and that tends to keep them under control for a long time. However, that might encourage fungal disease in Florida.

Companion planting is supposed to help some. I think onions are supposed to help keep them away. I wouldn't count on it, though.

I read somewhere that spider mites can spread anthracnose, and in my experience, that seems to be true (probably because they like apple trees and probably suck on the rotting fruits; anthracnose is a common fruit rot condition). I doubt you have apple trees in Florida, but make sure there aren't rotting fruits of any kind laying around.

Make sure your soil pH isn't off. I had more issues when I made the soil too alkaline. They seem to like weak plants, and drought-stressed plants. Is there much organic matter in the soil?
