And yes, remove/ replace aluminum awnings, possibly with bright new canvas ones if they are needed.

Flower boxes, new walkway, new door with interesting color, and possibly paint the brick.. Of course landscaping as welll but be careful in your plant selection since u have what looks like 3 ft of snow in your yard

Cute house! Congrats! I'd agree with the posters above - leave the brick, paint the door something fun, and do some landscaping. New railings would be awesome!

Not at all a bad looking house, cute indeed. If you are willing to spend a few more dollars consider turning the front portion of the roof from a hip to a gable, or perhaps building a gable roof that is just the width of your stoop. If your zoning laws allow you could extend the gable, add some columns, and turn the stoop into a covered porch. If the full hip were made into a gable and extended into a porch, it looks like you could create a covered porch wide enough for a swing bench, which would create a great small outdoor space for you to get to know your neighbors.. Many communities allow for open porches to encroach into setbacks. And most cities post their zoning ordinances online.

Also, I would be careful in removing the awnings. They may be there to keep the solar heat gain down and you may regret removing them come summer. If you do the porch yes the awning there will want to go
