where are you.. is the window getting cold at night.. how close is the plant... etc .... did you have it last winter????

It does get pretty cold at night . I have just got it this winter . I set it on a window seal , its right beside the glass , Do you think it needs to be moved ?

Here is a closer look at some of the leaves .

Where are you and what direction does the window face? How do you water it? Do you lift the pot to see if it need water, insert a finger into the soil or just see that the surface is dry?

If in an office building, the heat is often turned off during weekends. Can easily become cold enough to damage tropicals such as this pepper.

That looks to me more like a nutrient deficiency than an environmental problem. Watering is only one part of maintaining a healthy environment for that plant. What have you fed it?

take them out .... and use a very light water sol fert ... say 25% of recommended amount ...

It was about 70 yesterday when I got them out of the office . In in west TN and it just got cold yesterday .Todays high is 51 and low of 26 . It's now sitting on a table in front of a patio door which gets lots of light and is moved away so it doesn't get chilled at night .

yellowing leaves also result from insufficient light.

The plant may be too damaged to recover. If so, try again next year knowing that peppers need bright light and temps consistently above 55F.

Another thing to understand: These sorts of plants are intended to be grown as a temporary decorative plant indoors and should be tossed/discarded/composted when it's forlorn.
