sorry if this is a dble post. Couldn't find it. But anyways, came across this one. Seems unique, not sure I like it enough to want one. Your thoughts?

Not saying this is what's going on on this case but I've seen leaves with petaled portions at their extremities happen on tulips I've grown, also on another plant but I honestly can't recall which it was. The resulting structure is always twisted and grossly distorted as if attacked by a virus, not perfect and complete like the pic above shows us. This is very different to what I've seen, so it makes me very suspicious....but then to me it's more convincing than those other photoshopped fakes we've seen here recently.

Can we ask about the site you found it on, as that may give a bit more of a clue?

It's not one that I particularly admire, rare or not, and no one would know what it is in my parts anyway, they haven't even seen regular DR's before!

Lol, it was on Pinterest. Yes I've seen it in tulips and in a cple others that I can't recall currently. Riona has a green one that I like.

It's a pretty neat flower if real, but the white-ish petals of the one just above the opened flower indicates to me that it's probably not real. I don't know why the other buds around them are greened and this one is left as white.

I put the image through Google Image search and it only brought up two results, both from Pinterest.

I have seen a few posted with similar color, but not as much green and more red.

This is one that I know is real.

Then there is one that is almost all green. I believe Rinoa had one on her site at one time.
