Built in ideas

Hello, I am looking for some ideas that won't break the bank. I would like some sort of built ins or shelving. I've received quotes anywhere from $5,000-$7,000 which is out of our budget.

I am also attaching a copy of one of the drawings/suggestions I've received.

I prefer matching chests..you don't break the bank and they provide storage and your personal style....

My 1 st question is do you have things that are wanting to actually be displayed on all those shelves , most people don’t then they are looking for ways to clutter up the shelves with things they don’t need . I would put a buffet height pice on each side with some nice art work above and call it a day. I love the suggestion above too

I love this idea! The only thing is our space is about triple the size of the typical opening on either side of fireplace. We have about 90" on either side.

Thank you!

My name is Stephanie, thanks for the advice! I really like the ones from restoration but they are a bit above our price range. I was hoping to stay around $500-$800 for the credenzas. The walls are painted "grayish" by Sherwin Williams

Looking at your design ideaboards..I think you like a urban farm type design? Will be beautiful with your stone fireplace! What type flooring will you have?

Here are a few in your price range...
this last design would give you a eclectic look with the urban farm look...if you are a young family..gorgeous large baskets from pottery barn stored underneath could hold children's toys.

Be sure to measure the space on each side after fireplace is completed...so you have a better idea of what width is needed for chests..also keep in mind they do not have to fill the entire width.
