You may want to consider a black composite sink with that. I think it would look sharp. Definitely install hardware on your cabinets. And paint - that yellow/cream is not adding any character. I think a grayish sage green would look nice.

That's gorgeous! I would be love to do a poor-man's version of the above photo. I plan to pick up a couple of quartz samples today and I'll see about the Keranium color. Husband and I floated the possibility of a copper apron sink-the one above is stunning. Our living area (adjacent to the kitchen) is a very light neutral sage color, so perhaps I could carry that wall color into the kitchen. Thanks for your suggestions.

A copper sink would be wonderful, if you have the budget for it. If not, go with a black sink and maybe copper handles for the cabinets and copper faucet? I think you need some warm elements in your kitchen with that tile - copper would be great for that.

I like the Keranium color because it has some gray and green in it which would work nicely with your black appliances.

ditto on the paint color, ditto on copper sink. I have one. Found it on Coppersinks.com I believe. it was one of their clearance sinks. Great deal. (make sure if you do copper, get 14Ga.

Work w/the floor instead of against it. Look at kitchens on here by searching, "spanish style" or mexican saltillo floor, or saltillo mid century, and see what pops up to give you ideas. White and black look great w/your floor. Consider some darker hardware options, not stainless. Also try and bring in some blue. Cobalt and those tiles look amazing together. I actually have those tiles on my patio. You may think about getting them professionally stripped to see if you can tone down the color. I don't know what sealer was put on them, but it might have changed the tone. Mine still look the same and I used a stone impregnator/sealer.

A wood counter top would look great with that floor. A natural oil/wax finish on something like Hickory or some other gold/brown wood surface would look right at home with those floors.
