Damaged tip

After opening the small box that contained my grafted adeniums, I inspected them thoroughly and noticed that the growth tips were damaged by the transport. The scions of the two adeniums I ordered were much smaller than expected. I'm worried that they may not grow again. What I'm supposed to do? Please help me!

It should be fine. Watch the tip and if it should start to die back, cut it of only a bit. I do not think it will.

If the tip of the branch does die back. It will produce new shoots from one of the old leaf scars ( "D" shape marks on grafted portion).

I am not sure what type of climate you live in. Warmer climate will see growth sooner with good sunlight and heat. Cooler climate will take a bit longer.

Only growth on the piece at the top (grafted scion) should be allowed to grow. If growth comes from on root stock, rub them off when they appear.
