Thank you, Theresa. I'm hoping I can send the Geezerman off to the down south extended family party so I can stay home and sew. Family was down from Indiana for a few days and left yesterday.......I'm ready for some quiet time.

We will have DS and family here for a couple days. We are all going to DD's for Thanksgiving, with her hubby cooking the meal. I am making the pumpkin pies.

My husband and I will have thanksgiving dinner here tomorrow just the two of us. First time in 15 years that my house has not been full on Thanksgiving. I am sort of looking forward to it. :) Friday we are traveling to my mom's to finish her bathroom remodel.

We left Minneapolis this morning in a "snow event" heading to Denver to be with three of my husbands kids and our new great-grandchild. The weather cleared at the Iowa border, and we are spending the night in Hastings, Nebraska.

We are having a friend over for Thanksgiving, but our DS & DIL are going to her folks for the day because she has several relatives in from Chicago. We will celebrate with them later. I hope to put up the outside Christmas lights on Saturday, maybe a little shopping. I do plan to sew this weekend, too!

Safe travels, everyone! We are going to Lakeland to see Mark's dad, sister and BIL (about a 60 mile drive). Dad moved to a retirement community earlier this year and he's invited us to dinner there.

We had some chilly weather a few days ago but now it's back to 80 high and 60 low. Sue, my sister lives in DC and she said they'd been having crazy wind there, too.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We were busy here, ate far too much and now will turn our thoughts to Christmas!! (and I HAVE to sew something with Christmas fabrics to make it right!).

Thanksgiving Day we went to dinner at my sister's about 1 hr from here, with the 24 relatives from this area. Came home with no leftovers, so yesterday I cooked us a turkey dinner with all the fixings. Enjoying leftover sandwiches as we speak.

Friday I started working on my step-daughter's Double Wedding Ring quilt (they got married last weekend with only a few weeks' notice). Bought the pre-cut quilt kit from Keepsake which has saved me the fabric shopping and cutting steps. A glass of wine before working on it has helped with the scrappy selection in the piecing stages. lol Don't know, but maybe the top will be done by Christmas so they can open it.
