BR is bathroom remodeler? I'm not sure what part of the country you live in, that does come into play. But if its a custom and well made cabinet brand, for that custom vanity, that's just about right I'd say.

If you obtain quotes from more than one company it is easier to compare prices to get an idea of the actual cost of items. Usually anything involving building/home improvement always costs more than you think it will. However with this said some businesses do over quote on jobs they don't really want to do but if you pay the price they do the work. Obtain other quotes making sure they include the same items/level of work and take it from there. Maybe the price rises this time of year if people are trying to get things completed before Christmas.

Did a redo of MB and dressing area. Needed wardrobes, chests, cabinets and back to back vanities. Quote from bath design company was a minimum of $17,000.00 for cabinetry. Ouch! Decided this was crazy. Ended up getting wardrobes, chests, linen closet and cabinets from IKEA for about $3,000.00 and vanities and other cabinets from Lowe's for about $3,500.00. Looks awesome and I didn't have to break the bank. The price for Cambria is about right.

Try getting several other quotes or plan it yourself as I finally did with the aid of a 3-D computer program. Would attach photos but am away from home at present.
