no, it wasn't a mouse messing with my pie, it was DH doing, as he put it, quality control.

Lisbon lemons are strong and tart, which is why you need lots of sugar to use it for lemonade.

Surprisingly, the lemon flavor is just right for this recipe. Your lips won't pucker. Yumminess!

That looks incredible! I may make it tomorrow with my Meyers...I'll watch the sugar bc they are not as tart.

I might use my Cuban Shaddock instead of lemons. They are only mildly sour

Bossy, generally where are you located? I'm near Beaumont, TX and surprised your satsumas aren't ready yet. Mine are all dead ripe and I've harvested about half already.

Hmmm, surprised your satumas are ripening at a different time there. Right now, it's my dancy tangerine and the kumquats that are juuuust barely beginning to ripen up.

@poncirusguy, I just learned shaddock is a synonym For pommelo. I didn't know that. I've grown Chandler for 2 yrs so no fruit yet.
