If your budget is $200, buy annual flowers, put fertilizer or compost on the lawn and edge the stepping stones. Move overgrown bush and unused pots and lights elsewhere.

If your budget is more, paint house and trim, too.

Thanks! What color would you paint the house?

Paint colors have to relate well to unchangeable features such as the brick pillars or perhaps the window trim. I'd go to Sherwin Williams paint color website, upload a photo of the house, and try things out. Start with a vanilla ice cream and milk chocolate brown or terracotta. The beige and Wedgewood blue combo was popularized (where I live) when it was shown as one of a half dozen sample combinations on a Dunn Edwards paint brochure in the mid 80's through mid 90's. It has become a classic, but you may want something different now.
