Can't say with any degree of precision just from photos:-) The first I would estimate at 10-15 years and the second, somewhere above 20 years. It would help if we could see the entire tree and get a sense of how large the trunk is.

You can tell how fast any tree viewed in person is growing at that time by looking at the twigs.

Branch growth is like soil deposits in that once you learn what to look for you can see the history. This is particularly easy with determinate growers like Pine Family conifers and rhododendrons.

Of course science prefers increment boring to get the exact ages of trees.
