Hi I really love your design and I was looking at the calacatta backsplash, so beautiful.
I really need help for my design.....I explain:

I have oak classic cabinets original to the house in very good condition. Since it's all in good condition we decided to work with what we have already instead of wasting them even if it's not the style that I will go for if I had to buy new cabinets. So the new that stain color will be more like a rich cognac stain and the island will be a very very dark espresso almost black.

My question is:

Should I put a calacatta gold marble 3x6 backsplash as this picture or a glazed bronze 3x6 backsplash from Pratt and Larson company?

Which one will make look the kitchen more luxurious with my cabinets new color and with a dark counter??? And should a go with black or brown antique granit (island counter included).

HI Anjelina,

I saw your images; ignore my last response, I am reading my emails from top to bottom! I think you should do the bronze from P&L. I have used that before and I think it will be very luxurious. Just make sure you have enough light so that the space doesn't become too dark; not sure what you plan on doing for your flooring but with very dark surfaces ample illumination is key to highlighting all of your surfaces appropriately. I'm not sure if you can retrofit some undercabinet lighting bc that would really wash the bronze tile nicely. I know they even sell battery operated ones that stick under cabinets as a very inexpensive option! I hope it goes well! Send some pics of the finished product would love to see it!

I've picked out Silestone Eternal Calacutta Gold quartz counte tops and painting cabinets DW Extra White. I like Highland Park Dove Gray tile for the back splash and I think Exotic Mahogany flooring. My question - I've got a galley kitchen - very long (photos are in my idea book titled "Kitchen Disaster" - would marble CG tiles like you used look bad with quartz counters? Will the dark floor look ok? I have plenty of sunlight. Also I love tile to the ceiling, but not sure about how it would look in my kitchen or what size tile I really just need someone to tell me what to buy that will look like this kitchen (but in my kitchen :-)

Thank you for any advice, I'm getting desperate and don't trust my eye for what looks good.
