Hi Folks,

I recently purchased this beauty from a local garden center (Mahoney's in Winchester) and brought it into work today so I have something nice to look at when she blooms. Looking at the bulb and reading about it on past posts, it really has the shape and growth habit of it's papilio parent. Has anyone tried to grow it as an evergreen like a papilio? I grow my papilio like an evergreen (unintentionally) and try as I might, I cannot get it to go dormant. Like a fresh child, it just doesn't wanna go to sleep. It does however flower around January/February completely on it's own with no help from me. Lemme know what you all think.

Thanx,

Fred
