I have seen that pillow at the store. As I recall, it has an interesting reverse side with just a touch of the salmon color. But, I think the side you have showing is more appropriate for your space.

CDR, yes, the back of the pillow is nice too! I like the front more but the back would also work.

I love the "punch" the pillow adds to the bed. With the matching linen quilt and shams, the bed is such a big neutral blob. I love what the rug on the wall added to the room, but the linen blob needed just a bit of fun added to it since the rug on the wall is kind of funky/eclectic. Now, the single huge pillow is loaded with interest and texture and kind of transforms the neutral bedding.

Yes, the bed was underwhelming with that lone, small blue pillow. Looks great now!

Speaking of hippies, a couple years ago, my oldest granddaughter was at school learning about nouns/adjectives. The teacher used the word "hippie" in a sentence. I guess my granddaughter loudly blurted out, "My gran used to be one of those.". My son called to tell me about it that night. I was on speaker phone and his whole family was cracking up.

Then, my daughter's two girls call me "Gran-ola" for the same reason.

Hey Ann..I know you are not asking for ideas or advice...but saw this wall art and thought of you...thought it would look great with your new pillow! Looking through all the magazines with my 85 year old mom living with me and we both just loved it!....kinda mid-century whimsy feel:))

Thanks HIWE. There's no room for more art in that room. The rug on the wall kind of owns the art department, lol:). I have some Asian lotus panels across from the rug, but they're pretty neutral/gray.

Hi Depo. I called about it last week. It is supposed to ship directly from the manufacturer. The website called the manufacturer and were told it should ship Tuesday or Wednesday of this upcoming week. If it doesn't, I'll begin to get a little grumpy with them:) But, for now, I'm staying reasonable and polite.

I finally have a tracking number for my desk lamp and it's supposed to arrive on Saturday. I'll believe it when I see it, lol:)

My LED desk lamp arrived. Wonderfully functional with its various joints and ability to stretch - and the shade moves in every direction. Also the light adjusts to any intensity with that little knob on the base - not just clicking to various settings but rotating to any light intensity level from off to high and anywhere in between.

Your office looks gorgeous Ann...and I love how the lamp seems to pull a little sparkle from your shelves too. You must be really happy. :)

That works! Not only does the map work w/ it, but also some objects in bookcases have gold/brass tones, too.

Thanks everyone! I'm very pleased. It's very subtle but I like how it scatters the brass tones around a little more. There is a lot of brass on the bookcases because of the objects but also all the writing on all the books. So, it's nice to bring some more brass over to the desk. Then, as you look into this room from the hall (where I stood to take the pic), you are also looking at my 4 modern brass sconces on the dining room wall and the brass centerpiece bowl. So, I like the continuation of the brass in the two side by side rooms.

Looks great Ann and also great that it is so functional with the swivel and dimmer switch.
