I received my thread order from Connecting Threads today. I decided some time back that I was due new threads in lovely colors after I had systematically gone through most of my old C&C Dual Duty from years gone by. CT had a good sale on with some colors at only $1.67 or so for a spool. My previous order included a plastic thread holder case that holds 48 spools. So now I have two of those - one to hold older threads and one for the new purchases. I keep the threads in the holders under my sewing table so they are within easy reach yet out of the sun.

Well, I had some in my cart, but oldest DD rear ended youngest DD (liability only), then the rain and wind came and she had shingles blow off her roof and 3 leaks. So I did the good mom thing and helped fix her car. The bill for the roof will be here next week.

Double atta- girl. That's what family does. You can't let the roof go. Way too much damage to structure if it's let go.
