also what kind of rug? strange thing is that I am fashion designer and pulling things together might seam easy task but i get super confused about how everything should sit

You could add a long credenza under the TV. Looks like TV is hung too high. Lower it to be just a few inches over the credenza and move the keyboard to a better spot on an inside wall.

Would your bench look good under your tv for now? Seems bench is in an odd place. Yes, keyboard could go on right side of fireplace..standing facing fireplace.

thanks erinsean. I will change as per your suggestion but piano next to fireplace will not be crowded . also bench is used for seating around table or facing tv. what do you think?

The TV might be too big for it to work though. I would keep either the ottoman or the bench, not both (at least not so close together). Have you tried turning the sofa to face the fireplace?

I'm really feeling an orange rug to pull color from that cool painting. Also, bench under the tv - when you need the extra seating, it can come out. Plus, that'll help cover all the hanging cords.

The bench looks awkward. Nobody is going to sit on a bench for very long esp. for watching TV. It also looks too much like the ottoman that you're using as a coffee table.

Bench seems out of place. Ottoman seems too big for the space -- maybe opt for a glass/clear coffee table. Something with legs. Piano would exit to another one. Agree with putting a long credenza under the TV and lowering it a tad.
