clematis pairing with Rose Gertrude Jekyll

I have a friend who is growing Gertrude Jekyll in front of a porch railing and post and I would like to identify a clematis to join Gertrude. I've never grown that rose so I'm not that familiar with blooming habit or vigorousness. It is growing in southern NH in sun about 5-6 hours.

If there was some blooming overlap, that's fine but not required. If it does overlap bloomtime, the colors have to coordinate. Can't have a purpley pink next to a clear pink!

Probably a group 3 would be best for once a year pruning up against the rose. Salvaging vines of a group 2 might get tricky as the rose matures.

Jackmanii is always a win-win, but she has a Jackmanii dark purple clematis elsewhere on the property. I would like to expose her to a broader clematis color pallet. I am the enabler. :-)

What do you think of Betty Corning?
