Oh Ingrida, I had a chickie named Angelica who turned out to be a rooster, who I then re-named Angelo. I had to re-home him and his "sister" Phoebe. They were the cutest little silkies. I miss them...

Those are some of the best looking roses you've ever posted, Beth. Do you have a new camera that shows them off to special advantage or something? Really--so many beautiful roses there.

And Kate, yes I got myself a new camera for Xmas last yr. Much better lens on it, like my one previous to the last one.

I can't take all these in on one sitting. Too many 'gorgeousnesses' to study. But I want to get my few in before being left behind.

Apricot Nectar - Boerner tall florib. --- a reject photo because these blooms had no color. It was a cold spring. Normally a delicate shading of pastel peach-apricot. Only lasts 3 days :-((

Abraham Darby ----- being a color last Dec. that I've not seen since!!! Included to show the amazing difference with its appearance below.

Abraham Darby again ------ reject photo this cold spring because no color!!! Who would've thought this is the same rose as above.

Beth, my Aschermittwoch is also from RVR, and I've found it to be an excellent rose. I'm in a very different climate from you - zone 5b in the north east - but still it comes through winter like a champ and puts on a really great spring show! It's up and over an 8' arch by the end of season... I bet yours will get HUGE!
