We have had a (fake) wooden blind in our bathroom but are just redoing the room and I am replacing it with a fabric roman blind.

I put painted wooden shutters in both bathrooms in my last house and will probably do the same in our new house. They open for easy cleaning and look so good with any style. I will also use them in the kitchen for the same reasons while the rest of the house will sport blinds. Wood shutters are initially expensive but the windows aren't that large and are well worth the expense just in convenience. Love 'em.
