I could have sworn I posted here, but I guess not.

Before I post mine, let me say that, Beth, you have some real beauties there. I especially like Bajazzo and Beautie. And all the "black reds" like Black Baccara. Blossomtine and Blue Nile are both exquisite.

I'm especially intrigued by reds with yellow reverses--kind of like Bolshoi. What is your opinion of that rose, Beth? How susceptible to BS? I had to give up on Gypsy Carnival--too BS plagued--but have never found a good replacement.

I was happy to see your Broceliande--pinkish and whitish. Don't know why I thought mine would be reddish and faint yellowish, --that was the way the catalogue described it--but it turned out more like yours--so I guess that is normal. I'll start with that one so you can see how mine turned out.

    BROCELIANDE (HT)--pretty, but not reddish!

    BEROLINA (HT)--

    BRAVEHEART (Clements shrub)

BOULE DE NEIGE (Bourbon, Hybrid Perpetual, Noisette--another one they can't decide on the classification)--not the best pic, but it didn't bloom much last year. Hopefully better this coming year.

BUFF BEAUTY (hybrid musk)--bit more buff colored in my garden.

    That's it. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks Sara! Your roses are extremely enabling as well.

Kate - Love all your roses, especially love Broceliande. Where did you get it?

Beth - You have the most fabulous collection of roses. I know you've heard this before but it never ceases to amaze me.

    I have a few "B's"

Brinessa (HT) A very good dusty pink HT. Foliage like leather. Almost impossible to find. I've been growing it for 26 years.

Baby's Blush (HT). New to the garden this year. I REALLY like it. A MUCH improved version of Brides Dream.
Bold Ruler (minifl) Also new to the garden this year. This is going to be a great miniflora.
Black Jade (mini). This mini has been around for a while for a good reason. The buds are so deep red they appear almost black.
Baldo Villagis (minifl) I probably have it spelled wrong. But it is a great miniflora. Some folks say, "Baldo is Shameless"

Desertgarden - Love your roses! I'm thinking of getting Bishop's Castle for the color and fragrance. Can you tell me how big yours is and what the shape is like?

    Thanks,

Broceliande, Dublin Bay... Wow!!! So many pretty roses.

Ann - I cannot provide a fair assessment of Bishop's Castle because recently, it has not received the best care. It was brought with us when we moved, and remains in a pot . I had plans to toss it because even prior to moving, I had not been impressed with its growth habit (octopus canes, awkward growth) or blooms when compared to other roses. If only mine looked like Ingrid's and a others I have seen. I kept it because next season, my plan is to provide better care for it to see how it performs. Sorry, my allergies/sinus issues have been flaring up this week and I feel as if I cannot think straight right now.

Thanks Desertgarden. I'm probably going to get Bishop's Castle and position him where he can flop around and not have it held against him. Hope you're feeling better!

Ann--love your Betty White. She is so floriferous!

About my Broceliande, I got it at Palatine (the Canadian nursery). It's a good grower and seems fairly good on BS resistance. It is one of my son's favorite roses.

Neptune your bierdermier is my dream! Can't find it anywhere... do you mind telling where you got yours??? Thanks

Katalea, I ordered it directly from Tantau 3 years ago. Real beauty, but prone to BS. Like most mini. Here is a link

So many beautiful roses here! <happy sigh> Beautiful Anne, all the dark deep red roses, Betty White, Brother Cadfael... just gorgeous! I lost count of how many I wanted to comment on! Wonderful photos as well. Just two Bs for me.

    Bull's Eye

Broceliande - Kate, mine starts off red and yellow, then fades to white and pink. I love both colour phases!

Blush - Kordes --- they smell like cold cream. Blooms blow after about 3 days.

All beautiful, but Butterscotch, cl. and Betty White are so charming and elegant. Carolina Girl, is your Kordes Blush short for First Blush? If so, I can't wait for mine to get going.

Vaporvac, mine is in a pot and is 5 1/2 feet tall. It was a gallon pot from Lowes last summer. It grew great in our heat last summer.
