Hi there, another late planting gardener...

I got some Anemone blanda, gave them a good soaking, they got nicely plump, actually about 8 hours covered in water, and then another day just in a puddle, the upper half sticking out of the water. Finally they got really rehydrated.

Bu as last time when planting them, in a more shriveled state,

I was not 100% sure about which side to turn upwards,

ending up planting them on their side...

But rehydrating completely helped a lot,

am I right to assume that the smooth side is the bottom,

the side with the leftovers from stems/roots is the top?
