I've got the same thing and didn't find anything on google except that Collectors Corner stock it. Maybe email them and ask? It looks like a normal carnosa to me. Maybe slightly narrower leaves? but that could be growing conditions. I've got mine in with a small minibelle and they play nice together :D

sp. Sweet Scent is the only other hoya I can think of with "sweet" in the name. here is my plant:

AHHoya (dot com) has a lovely photo of the flower on their website.

The leaves are kinda carnosa-ish....but can become quite thick, large, and/or wide.

The flowers, however, are NOT at all like carnosa; lacking any pubescence, and the fragrance is more like a mix between subcalva and griffithii (think fruity floral).

Is there such a thing as a white dragon pubicalyx?

When I zoom in on the original photo the stem is distinctly fuzzy.

The leaves and new growth on mine looks the same as Lydias, also, gorgeous plant! So lush!

I just bought the one they call white dragon. Very different from this one. The stem and leaves look lime in color.

So....must be a hybrid or something. I had never heard of it either.

Could it be Hoya minibelle!? Just looked it up and it's very similar.

Nope, I have minibelle as well, minibelle's leaves are thinner. In fact I have 2 minibelles and one is potted up with this "sweet heart" hoya and you can see the differences in leaves.

What does sheperdell look like? Isn't it the sister plant to minibelle?

Saw something in a different forum...someone was asking for info on Hoya carnosa "Sweetheart". Deducing that it is a carnosa hybrid.

The flowers on yours scream carnosa, Adam. Normally, carnosa/pubicalyx crosses will have flowers that carry red or deep coloration and are on the larger side (unless mixed with Hoya celata...the REAL name for what they are calling white dragon).

As far as leaves go, they are narrower than most carnosa leaves and look more like pubicalyx; however, true to hybrid/cross nature, I have a pubicalyx cv. Red Buttons with nice round leaves, like carnosa!

The flower photo (if it is true to the plant) does not match celata, which is a nice cream color, both corolla and corona.

It's leaves appear too large, in width and length, to be cv. Minibelle.

Regardless of what it is, it is a VERY nice specimen!

After googlng I found a photo of what is supposed to be shepherdell ( shepherdii X carnosa.) which is apparently a sister plant to minibelle? Any way, the flowers do look similar to the photo? I know minibelles leaves look more shepherdii than carnosa, doe's shepherdells leaves look more carnosa than shepherdii?

Anyone here have one so we can compare?

I see you have the variegated kerrii. That has for to be the slowest grower I have. Always looks like it's going to rot!...I went to a local nursery yesterday. They had about 10 baskets of it and all looked horrible. Still clinging to life but sad looking. I have to figure her out quick.

Maybe a hybrid? Could be Hoya pubicalyx or Hoya carnosa splash maybe

The only experience I have had with variegated kerrii is at Flecker botanic gardens in Cairns (where everything grows with zero effort) and at a ladies garden in Dawesville just south of here. It was growing in a hanging pot suspended from a fiddlewood tree and looked very healthy and happy.

It does look very healthy! Not one blemish. I might have change the soil on mine.

Oooh, variegated kerrii is a horrible grower! I have two and one has one and a half leaves and the other just has a half leaf. This is because they just get spots and drop off. Yet the normal kerrii's are doing fine! I can't work it out.... Still, there is hope, half leaf is growing a teeny new leaf and leaf and a half has two growing! They might shrivel up and die but for now I'm crossing my fingers.

I'll cross my fingers along with you! Atleast you got growth. Mine is at a standstill. I'm going to move it to a terracotta pot as add more perlite to the mix...Now, Kerrii with the inner variegation is a beast. No stopping that one.

I need one of those then!
